STUDENT RESOURCES

Schoolsite Council
A great way to be a part of Capital City School decision-making is to join the Schoolsite Council.  We need students and their parents/guardians alike to be a part of the team, so come join us to be involved with the decisions we make about your education. Our next meeting is yet to be arranged.

THE NECESSITY OF COMPLETING YOUR HOMEWORK: In independent study, attendance is based upon the amount of completed homework a student turns in each week.  Because you are physically not in school each day, your homework is the evidence that you have been in school all week at home.  Therefore, it is essential that you complete all of your assigned weekly homework.  Incomplete assignments indicate that you have been truant.  Two weeks of incomplete assignments also places a student's enrollment in Capital City School at risk.

REQUIREMENT:BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.students must be at home unless they are scheduled to be at school or a doctor's appointment, authorized to be at work, have volunteered for community service or service learning, or involved in other school projects assigned by their teachers.
